With almost 200 in attendance, the event raised over $110,000 for pediatric brain cancer research. This is our biggest fundraiser to date.

  • Dancing Beans – A Dance-a-Thon for Children! a unique opportunity for our children to help others by raising awareness and money to find a cure for pediatric brain cancer. Kindergarten-8th grade students participated in this opportunity by getting family and friends to pledge donations for every minute they dance. This event was held at the Wheaton Firehouse on Friday, November 20th from 7-9 pm. A DJ will played all the latest hits and gave out prizes to the spirited dancers.
  • The 4th Annual Fall Ball – On Saturday, November 21st almost 200 people attended the 4th Annual Lilabean Foundation Fall Ball–An Evening of Thanks & Giving. We are thrilled to announce that we raised $80,000!! Four years ago at our first Fall Ball, we raised less than $20,000. We are proud of how far LBF has come. However, we are continually dismayed at the lack of progress made in the childhood brain cancer research field. In the past 20 years, the survival rate of kids with brain cancer has only gone up 4 percent. With the continued help of our supporters, we WILL make a difference.
