Shelby Whittier

Shelby has been a long-time friend and supporter of the Lilabean Foundation. From attending the very first Fall Ball in the Giroux's backyard to her many years of dedicated LBF event volunteer service, she is thrilled to start a new chapter with LBF as a part of the staff. With experience in event planning and software fundraising for local private schools and nonprofit organizations, plus a prior life in sales and development, Shelby brings experience, energy, and a strong commitment to the cause. She was deeply honored to receive the inaugural LBF Volunteer of the Year Award and is proud to be a member of the LBF team to advance the important mission. She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband, Tim, and is the proud mom of three semi-adult/college children. In her downtime, she can be found playing tennis, braving hot yoga, reading, cooking, traveling, or walking her rescue dogs.
