Nicole Giroux

Nicole is the founder and executive director of the Lilabean Foundation. Most importantly, she is mother to Lila – the namesake of the organization. Lila was diagnosed at 15 months old with a multifocal, inoperable brain tumor and has undergone many chemotherapy regimens over the past 12 years. Before founding LBF, Nicole worked in event planning, public relations and development. Starting the Lilabean Foundation gave Nicole the opportunity to put her skills to use with her most meaningful job to date. Nicole is a 1996 graduate of Dickinson College where she majored in Psychology. When she is not working, Nicole enjoys reading, riding her Peloton and family adventures.
