The LBF Ambassador Council
The Lilabean Ambassador Council is a group of young professionals from various industries who volunteer their time for the foundation to help spread awareness and raise funds for pediatric brain cancer.
WHAT THE AC RAISES FUNDS FOR?

Helping to Fund the Future of Pediatric Brain Cancer Researchers

While the LBF Ambassador Council raises funds for a variety of initiatives within the foundation, they have focused a good deal of their funding to support the LBF Fellowship Fund at Children's National Hospital. This Fund was created to provide support to early pediatric cancer researchers in their work, it is funding the future researchers that will help to continue to make progress and find better treatments and potential cures for pediatric brain cancer.

SUPPORT LBF EVENTS
The LBF Ambassador Council is instrumental in creating LBF events, specifically the Run for Hope event that was created by the Council in 2020. This virtual 5k event has raised over $30,000 in just two years! They plan the event from start to finish and work collaboratively to make it a great experience for runners across the country!

In addition to the Run for Hope, the AC has raised thousands of dollars through Give/Get events with partners like Kendra Scott,
They are also instrumental in helping volunteer at our signature LBF events, and bring their many skills to help with everything from photography, to registration, and more!
